SS Hub – Brixton Site Provision
Located at the home of the Create Foundation in Brixton, the SS Hub is a vibrant community learning space for students aged 14+ with an EHCP.
In line with our ethos, the Create Foundation is dedicated to opening up opportunities for young people. We are proud to be part of this inspiring community of organisations — from therapy groups to community cafés and creative art spaces — all working together to educate, empower, and provide access to spaces for the next generation.
Preparing for the Future
At the SS Hub, we prepare students for further education, apprenticeships, or employment. Each learner follows a personalised pathway plan, designed around their interests, strengths, and goals.
With small, supportive cohorts, we offer a blend of:
Core subjects – to build essential skills
Vocational courses – including practical qualifications
Work experience opportunities – providing real-life skills and insights
This approach helps students to develop confidence, independence, and the skills they need to thrive beyond Solid Steps.
Community Connections
We are proud of our strong links within the local community and work in collaboration with partner organisations to provide meaningful opportunities. From hands-on training to mentoring and workplace experiences, our learners benefit from support that extends well beyond the classroom.
Safeguarding and Support
Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We ensure every learner feels safe, supported, and valued, with access to pastoral guidance and encouragement at every stage.
By combining personalised learning, vocational opportunities, and strong community partnerships, the SS Hub helps young people take the solid steps they need towards a brighter future.
