Choosing the right provision is an important decision for any parent or carer. At Solid Steps, we pride ourselves on creating a safe and supportive learning environment where every young person can thrive.
As your child takes the next step in their learning journey, we are here to work alongside you—removing barriers to education and ensuring that each student has the guidance, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.
Each of our sites has an Assistant Head of Provision and an Operations Manager who work together to implement transition plans, assess risks, and address any gaps in the educational provision being delivered. This ensures that every student receives a personalised, well-rounded education tailored to their needs.

At our school, every young person has a timetable that’s designed to help them shine. With small class sizes, plenty of staff support, and a wide mix of subjects, we make sure learning is engaging, supportive, and fun.
You can view each group’s timetable here:

We want our young people to feel comfortable and confident at school, while keeping standards that are respectful and suitable for a learning environment. We encourage individuality and self-expression through clothing, while asking everyone to follow a simple dress code:
No hats or hoods to be worn indoors
No face coverings (unless agreed with parents/carers for religious or medical reasons)
No very short shorts or skirts
No tops that are low-cut, cropped, or show underwear/midriff
Footwear should be safe and practical for school activities
Our aim is to create a relaxed but respectful atmosphere where students can focus on their learning and feel part of the community.
